Mercury Retrogrades are time periods when the planet related to communication and transmissions appears to trek backward in the sky, symbolizing there’s some ground we must cover again. This Retrograde starts in the sign of Aries and then returns to Pisces. Here are the dates!

Aries is the do-er. Pisces is the dreamer. While there’s soooo much we wanna do, this Retrograde is putting us in a celestial timeout. Before jumping into action, we’re being asked to check back in with the overall vision. The beauty of the Pisces-Aries bridge, where the two signs meet, represents the transmutation from old wisdom into the quest for new experiences. Just because we hit an end doesn’t mean we don’t start again. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, the culmination. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, the spark of new experiences. This Mercury Retrograde could offer us a lot of second chances, as well as opportunities to give a project, person, or home a proper send-off.

When Venus is in the mix, Retrograde alongside Mercury, expect themes of Venus to be the topic of conversation. Venus is connected to: relationships, love, money, comfort, worthiness, values/morals, and sensuality. This is a classic time for people from your past to come back out of the blue. It’s already happened to me. Yep I got an email from an ex I dated in 2008 (!!!!!lol!!!!!)
Aries and Pisces are both sensitive signs, meaning words will pack an extra punch this Retrograde Szn. Yes, that’s right, we always hear about how ~emotional~ Pisces, are but don’t gloss over Aries in this conversation. They are the big-time, sensitive, expressive angel of the zodiac! Be mindful of taking the bait and falling into unnecessary conflict. Unless it’s shit that’s overdue for working out, which Retrogrades can be great for. Otherwise, keep it moving. Opt for voice notes so there’s no misconstrued energy about tone in your texts. No need to assume everyone is out to get you. We’re all just trying to get by.
