Mercury moved into Leo on June 26, 2025, and he will be in the sign of the lion for an extra-long time, all the way until September 2, 2025. Mercury will go Retrograde later this month on July 17, 2025, and stay Retroey until August 11, 2025.

I will *ABSOLUTELY* dig more into the Mercury Retrograde of it all when that day comes, so hold tight because let’s talk about what it even means to have Mercury in Leo.
To have the expressive planet in the most expressive sign means we lose more when we say less. The idea of just trying to squeeze by unnoticed, like it’s something that will save you, will not be rewarded at this time.
Mercury in Leo doesn’t care what market research says or what’s trending. Leo is a Fixed (Modality) Fire (Element) zodiac sign. Its gift is long-lasting passion. Leo energy withstands the test of time because it doesn’t chase what’s fleeting. It does the classics right, or on the flip side will double down on what the future will be. It’s not waiting for you to catch up.
Now, all of this will be felt with a prolonged Pluto Opposition with Mercury. While Mercury is shapeshifting and flexible by nature, Leo is not, and the Opposition to Pluto certainly is not either. We will be asked to pick a side, and that side is ourselves. Hasn’t this year been one long question of who we are and who we are not?
Ok, maybe this all sounds really dramatic coz Leo is really dramatic! Inside the theatrics can be the most steamy, beautiful love. A devotion to creativity. Romantic vignettes of a summer LIVED. Leo is somehow both put together and messy as hell and embraces all the parts of life because what else are we supposed to do?
