As an astrologer, astrological transits show themselves to me in various ways. Sometimes it’s a flash of an image, a random phrase, or a song I haven’t thought about in years. Venus has now moved into Pisces and there are so many feelings.

Soooo Pisces Venus. Pisces wants the big, overt, dedicated love. Sinking to the bottom sounds good, if it’s with you <333333 Venus adores being in Pisces, its place of exaltation. Before you go sinking, take a second and bob up to the surface for air. Venus in Pisces’s typical message is love above all, but this time around, with a Venus Retrograde in the mix, we’re here to ask: is love enough?
Venus moves into Pisces on January 2, 2025, at 7:25 PM PT where she’ll stay until February 4…and she’ll be back! She returns to the sign of Pisces starting on March 27, lasting until April 30. Yep, this extra-long, extra-strong Pisces Venus is part of the Venus Retrograde story that officially begins on March 1, 2025. Typically Venus in Pisces encourages us to feel it all and operate more from the heart versus head…but this Venus Pisces season is oh so different. She is getting challenged in a way she’s not used to. Life’s usually serene in her seafoam bubble, but that bubble is about to pop.
The first Venus ingress of 2025, during Mars Retrograde mind you, is a bit crunchy. Venus in Pisces is big lover-girl vibes, but something’s…off. Words that never mattered that much before are more important than ever. What did that really mean? Your inner monologue ponders.
Venus’s counterpoint of Mars is also noticing (and craving) that the actions match the words. OMGGG. STEP. UP. The inner monologue gets louder.
During her journey, Venus meets up with Saturn, who does not go easy on her. He’s telling her to check her makeup in the mirror, it’s all over her face. There’s lipstick on her teeth. Fix yourself!!!! Get a grip. You’re better than this.
Next up: she meets up with the North Node, newly in Pisces, helping her get back in touch with who she really is. Are you ok, sweetie? You haven’t seemed like yourself lately. Have some water. Oh, you are water…still have some just in case… there are more important things to focus on.
And ofc Neptune’s also there, making everything even more confusing. 🙈 Dude, what day is it?
So now what? A placement normally known for being so ~*go with the flow*~ and ~*serenity forward*~ is now swimming through a time of uncertainty and confusion. This was all supposed to be a light-hearted, fun time but it’s feeling heavy!!!
What to do? Create. Express. Sing. Doodle. Cry. There may be an instinct during this time to run away and hide. If you hide, seek sanctuary over placing yourself in a prison of your own making. Liberate yourself.
This Venus in Pisces is directly connected with Venus in Aries via the upcoming Venus Retrograde. All of the time is a small part of the bigger unfolding message about codependency and standing up for yourself. Pisces loves to enmesh, to blend together, but this Venus Pisces time offers a radical lesson in newfound independence that fishy folks are long overdue for. Love is always available, but your job is to also love yourself even more.
