In the midst of eclipses, we had a Venus switch. Venus moved into Virgo on September 19, 2025, where it will stay until October 13, 2025. We’ve been in it, experiencing it, trying it on for size after the ultra-fast (and dare I say furious) Virgo season.
After a wild, loud romp through Leo, Venus is in Virgo. She’s taking her supplements and doing her hair masks. Virgo is a mutable earth sign, focused on health, service, and sustainability. Venus can have a bumpy time in this sign because Venus, in benefic fashion, is not about saying no. Like its buddy Jupiter, Venus wants to explore, indulge, and be ~in it~…but while Venus is in Virgo we’re asked to honor our holy nos and even “I’ll get back to you on that.” Take a beat to check in with yourself instead of automatically activating the muscle memory of putting others first.
Venus in Virgo is about working with what you have—emphasizing the unique qualities you bring to the table. There’s a resourcefulness to Virgo energy. The most striking transit Venus will make during her time in Virgo is linking up with the South Node, also in Virgo. Reaching its exact conjunction on October 4, this is a transit that is a real purge moment. We could see the collective lightbulbs going off with messages like: this isn’t what I want! I’m done with this chapter! It was a great run, but time for something new! Whether that’s in love (odds are high hello VENUS!), in your career path, or related to more general outlooks and philosophies in life. This feels like post-psychedelic come-down clarity. If things are leaving, let them. You don’t need to force what doesn’t fit out of fear of the unknown.
Virgos are earth mothers, captains of our planet, keepers of the land. If you can spend the weeks ahead reconnecting with nature, giving yourself proper nutrients, caring for your hygiene (that includes digital ones), petting animals, cleaning junk drawers, and creating mutual paths of growth with your lover(s), then congrats! You’ve done a great job in the Virgo Venus land. Don’t worry, this moment isn’t a test that will be graded despite the Virgo Venus urge…
