it’s time to try on a new reality
Sagittarius is connected to Jupiter, the largest planet. In mythology, the king of the gods. Big, gregarious, generous. With Sagittarius we say yes, give things a shot, and follow life's magical unfolding. The path just seems to work out. Mercury is the planet we look towards when we are reflecting, planning, and expressing. The connector planet, makes things make sense and works with us on our life navigation. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, an extremely expansive energy, it can have us zooming soooo far out that we lose control of the reigns and allow life to guide us versus us being firmly at the helm. Time to remember who you are again.
Mercury Retrograde begins today, taming the wild centaur for a few weeks. It’s beautiful to be able to ~allow~ and go with the Mutable flow, but Retrogrades ask us “Hey what if you tried it the other way, this time?” and for Mercury in Sagittarius that means getting granular. Sometimes we must go micro to get back into the macro. Even the changes that appear like minor adjustments, habits, or rituals can provide substantial differences in our mood and energy. This Mercury Retrograde we’re being asked to not throw our hands up and surrender. Grab your lasso and go rope in your wild stallion. Make sure she’s roaming in the places she wants to be, versus where she just so happened to be. Your inner cowgirl has been riding and roaming wild for some time now, but every once in awhile we have to head into town, re-up our supplies, and decide what the next adventure is. Tunnel vision but make it chic.
~*flagging for the future*~ this time next year in November 2025 we will once again have a Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius! I would not be surprised if what’s cooking up right now is not something that is easily one-and-done. Once we get there, we will see in hindsight, but for now, while we are in philosophical, spiritual Sagittarius it’s time to get right again with our purpose. The heady stuff. Sagittarius is a wanderer, an accidental rebel, operating on a frequency all their own. Mercury Retrogrades are times when things are haywire. Like all Mercury Retrogrades: be mindful when signing contracts, buying technology, and working with calendars, messages, or schedules. Prime mixup time. Delays. Snafus. You get it. The Sagittarius of it all means we are asked to disrupt our regularly scheduled programming and ask, on a deeper level: are you moving in the direction you want? Sometimes some years are about neutrality and maintaining, and that’s all good! But if there are decisions that need to be made, ask your inner Sagittarius archer: is the arrow pointing in the right direction? There are so many possibilities, timelines, and ways to live a life. It’s time to try on a new reality.
Sagittarius tests the limits of mental and physical realms. They challenge the status quo. Take these horoscopes as a sign to challenge your thinking. ARIES [SUN/RISING] Change. The. Scenery. You’re being called to be a fire sign’s fire sign right now. Don’t be afraid. Show everyone why you earned the first spot of the zodiac. You’re bigger and more powerful than the situations happening in your life.
TAURUS [SUN/RISING] You’re gonna feel so much freer once you get a realistic plan in action. It doesn’t have to be complicated and don’t count on the words of others, it’s action or nothing. Cancel unnecessary subscriptions and shit you don’t even know you’re paying for. Pair it down.
GEMINI [SUN/RISING] Stop over-extending yourself for people who aren’t matching your freak. Whether this is a business partner or a lover, the mental gymnastics are a bit exhausting. See what happens when you aren’t the one being the nonstop driving force. Would it still exist or is it running on your fumes?
CANCER [SUN/RISING] Get out of your mind and into your body. Worrying has been doing nothing in service of you and when options are endless for ways to go, sometimes you just have to pick and see if sticks! Rise with the sun, touch grass, and snap out of it.
LEO [SUN/RISING] Stop saving your good ideas “for later” no more of that “it’s not ready yet” excuses. Don’t hold on so dearly to your ideas, show your rough drafts, be open to critique, and pour from a place of abundance rather than lack. Just because there needs to be some changes to a project doesn’t mean you need to throw the baby out with the bath water. Stop being so sensitive!!
VIRGO RISING [SUN/RISING] Home might be feeling a bit like a holding center and it’s time to get more inspired by day-to-day life. Maybe you need to move the furniture around or maybe you just need to leave your house more often. Similar to an itchy sweater, don’t forget you can take it off.

The screen time is making the bags under your eyes hurt and the Earthy side of you is missing rain smells and endless trees. If you are surrounded by cement, where can you find the tranquility indoors? A yoga studio? A pottery class? Log off. Work with your hands so you can get back in touch with your spirit.
AQUARIUS RISING [SUN/RISING] Your friends can’t read your mind, but whatever role you’re playing in the group is up for evaluation. Constantly the one organizer? Let your group lead the scheduling. Always the one that shows up but doesn’t plan? Take the initiative, and show your community how you appreciate them. You’ve been feeling like the odd one out, but odds are extremely high other folks are feeling just like you! Your circle of friends may need extra TLC <3 show up.
PISCES RISING [SUN/RISING] The urge to disappear is feeling stronger than ever and you may be asking yourself how you go into a position where you are in charge. The way you harness power doesn’t have to be like how everyone else does it. Your hard work isn’t going unnoticed, but you’re also allowed to chase after the dreams that feel like they’re distractions. A sabbatical-like reset could do wonders.
