A cosmic reset has entered the chat. Mars moved into Virgo on June 17th, 2025 after an incredibly long (spiritually exhausting) run in Leo (and Cancer) due to the Mars Retrograde cycle that started back in winter 2024. Mars is in Virgo until August 6, and he’s ready to work. Virgo is a sign related to details and efficency. Mars is the planet connected to our drive. If you have been feeling unmotivated, well, WAKE UP, BUTTERCUP!!!!! Virgos know better than any sign that things don’t just come to you without the dedication to go for it and the bravery to call it in. No excuses.
Virgo is a Mutable Earth sign that embraces flexiblity way more than its elemental partners, Taurus and Capricorn. Virgo, being the sign governed by Mercury, means he knows how to update with new information and the current data provided. While Mars is here, we’re asked to update the plans, pivot where pivoting is needed, and to not be addicted to an original plan if a better path is provided. Virgo Mars means don’t make things harder than they need to be. Take this Mars in Virgo time to make your life streamlined and simplified, whether that’s with a capsule closet or summer uniform, so you can spend more time actually doing what you want to do. Get into a routine that supports your schedule and goals. Break up the steps with realistic timeframes. Functional freeze be damned!!!!!
Mars is generally supported in the weeks ahead, but there is one crescendo transit that it’s all leading up to. On July 20, Mars conjuncts the South Node in Virgo, Opposite the North Node in Pisces. This will probably feel a smidge uncomfortable, like a growing pain. The inevitable ending after evolving away from something. There may not even be anything literally wrong, just the feeling and knowing that something’s gotta go. Mars can cut and remove and Virgo is discerning. It’s not you, it’s me (complimentary)
So? What are you waiting for?!? Chop chop! This is the perfect summer energy to actually make some movement on the goals that have been lingering on your to-do list, all while making the list shorter by getting real and removing the items that are not needed at this time. Refine to align.
