Look, this year has been weird as hell. It’s a time of completion, endings, and going internal. We’re all experiencing changes on both an astrological and societal level that many of us have never seen before. Mars is our red planet of action. It gives us guidance on what steps to take. Mars moved into Sagittarius on November 4, 2025, and will remain in this sign until December 15, 2025. Sagittarius is the sign connected to wisdom, travel, and exploring new terrain. Sagittarius leaps before it looks, and this moment is asking us to dive headfirst into the unknown. The existing systems are banking on you operating from fear. When we’re afraid, we shut down. We stay home, we stay too long in relationships that drain us or jobs that don’t value us, we buy more crap we don’t need to numb the pain. Mars in Sagittarius is pushing you to start running towards, instead of from.

Mars in Sagittarius is ready to make out with a stranger, go out on a weeknight even if it gets dark out early, apply to grad school lol, book the trip. While Mars is in Sagittarius, we’re being asked not to dwell too much on the plotting and the planning. Astrology tells us when it’s time for chaos or for discipline, and with Sag? It’s all about the freedom to go the way only you could go, whatever your style is. The only thing that matters is if you enjoyed the ride.

Now what’s reeeeeeeally interesting about this Mars in Sagittarius transit is that we’ll be experiencing a Mercury Retrograde alongside it! From November 9 through November 29, so most of Mars’s time in Sag, we’ll have Mercury Retrograde, which starts out in Sagittarius and then retrogrades back into Scorpio. Mercury + Mars together = hot lips and hotter words. Sagittarius can often suffer from foot-in-mouth but you know what (what?) SOMETIMES IT’S THE SHIT THAT WAS NEEDED TO BE SAID!!!! Take this Mercury Retrograde moment that is co-channeling the Sagittarius Mars energy, to reflect on where you’ve been toning yourself down to be more “palatable.” How has that been working out for you? I told you, we’re done operating from fear! Lack is whack!

Will this transit be easy? Absolutely not! Will it break you from the invisible chains that have been wrapped around you? Absolutely yes! It’s hard not to sound like a conspiracy theorist or a maniac when I say this, but: everything is made up. Man-made systems, limitations, currencies. Energy is real as hell.
