After a very uneventful weekend (jk jk) we continue with an intense start to the week with Mars Conjunct Uranus in Taurus, Chiron transits have us feeling it ALL, it’s real clown hour when Mars moves into Gemini, and we end the week with a whopper of a Full Moon in Capricorn, wrapping up our Full Moon story that started with the first Full Moon in Cap on June 21! Are you tired? I’m tired. Let’s take a look at the astrology of July 15 through July 21, 2024. #WUWTSRN

MONDAY JULY 15 This week starts with an extra kick because Mars (planet of action and aggression) is in conjunction with Uranus (planet of unexpected changes) in the sign of Taurus. As you know NOTHING DRAMATIC HAPPENED OVER THE WEEKEND (wink) but it was all building up to today. Hopefully, this exact conjunction feels like a pimple finally coming to the surface. It could be the symbolic frying pan over the head knocking some sense into you. Now is not the time to wait for life to realign itself for you. If there are actionable steps you can take, take ‘em! The Sun in Cancer is at a tense angle with Chiron the asteroid of trauma and healing, so it could bring up some past experiences or fears related to these Mars/Uranus themes. If it all feels too big or too hard to accomplish: express that. Talk it out and let people know. You might see a relic of your former life pop up out of the blue: don’t be afraid to look at it head-on and give yourself some credit for how far you’ve come since you started. 

TUESDAY JULY 16  First half of the day may be stimulating your creative mind as the Sun in Cancer and Moon in Scorpio are vibing hard. If there’s time today to nurture your artistic side I recommend it. This could even be appreciating art, maybe you go to a movie or finish that book that’s been lying around. This is a great night for sexy time because once the Moon moves into Sagittarius it sends its love to Venus in Leo. All systems go when it comes to a passionate evening / all things romance. You might be feeling active, so you could take your spark to the dancefloor or a restaurant with a more lively “we’re partying” vibe. Nothing quite or stuffy tonight!

WEDNESDAY JULY 17  The Moon in Sag continues its loving bliss to Venus in Leo all day, so if you need to do some things related to aesthetics this could be a great day for that. Nail appointments, updating your wardrobe, and anything that relates back to adornment are given a positive bump today. In the evening the Moon is getting Squared from Saturn in Pisces so you might feel frustration later in the day. If you have something going on in the evening that you are dead set on happening, be open to adjusting and going with the flow. If anything feels unnecessarily hard this evening, it probably is! Opt for ease.

THURSDAY JULY 18 Mercury in Leo is in a Trine with Chiron in Aries and this is a great time to tap into your feelings and express yourself. You may find yourself connecting to a piece of music that is nostalgic and healing. You may feel the urge to get the thoughts that have been ruminating in your head onto a piece of paper. Leo Mercury encourages imaginative vessels for communication, so if your regular communication approach isn’t hitting like it used to, today is a perfect opportunity to toy around with new avenues of expression. The Square from Mars and Uranus to Mercury does imply there could be frustration very present on the surface so beware the urge to have a full-blown temper tantrum. If you feel yourself getting hot, take a beat and get back to your composure. Leo Mercury doesn’t want to be caught acting up by the paparazzi…

FRIDAY JULY 19  The Moon moves into Capricorn and we’re building up to the upcoming Full Moon! Moon in Cap may have us feeling a little more grounded after the hot and cold previous days. We could wake up to a “reality check” update from a job or outside influence. A serious undertone to the day might have you in due diligence mode but the astrology supports it. A loving reminder that we rarely “get our shit together” in a single day, so be kind to your mind and focus on what you can actually cross off your to-do list and resist the urge to be hard on yourself.

SATURDAY JULY 20 Halfway through the day Mars moves out of Taurus and into Gemini! HUZZAH. IT’S CRAZY CLOWN TIME. I’m kidding…or am I? Mars is in Gemini until September 4th so we may see a surge in energy especially when it comes to the realms of Mercury. This could be a great time to make new connections, work on projects related to writing and communication, or pop off online. No, but for real, Mars in Gemini is a top ~taking it the world wide web~ sort of placement so during this run be mindful of what you’re posting! On the flip side, if you feel like you’ve been holding yourself back in terms of expressing yourself LET IT OUT. This is the time to let your ideas flow and not censor yourself (as long as you’re not causing harm!) so share yourself loud and proud. Your network has been waiting to hear from you.

SUNDAY JULY 21 In the wee hours at 3:17 AM PT we experience the second Capricorn Full Moon of the year! Full Moons are for releasing and realizing things and in the industrious sign of Capricorn, we may discover where we either need to step our game up or step out of the rat race. Our last Full Moon in Cap was on June 21 (does that not feel like a lifetime ago lol) and you may have discovered many new things about yourself and your ambitions since then. Today is the day you may realize where you need to go bigger and make worthy investments for your cause…or where it’s time to release a vision that’s no longer serving. This doesn’t mean ~ you’re done~ it might just mean you’re done putting in so much energy that you’re getting no reward back. Capricorn really lives that work smarter, not harder lifestyle so give yourself the grace and space to reevaluate so you can focus on what you really love to do! SIMPLFY!
